It’s finally winter and ten days in temperatures are barely making 20 degrees outside and even colder in the wind. So your starting to think how do keep myself warm and still look stylish. There’s a theory that goes like this… If you keep your feet and head warm the rest of your body will keep warm. For Women it’s a lot easier, but for men what do they do? Luckily there are a range of footwear that worm right can keep your feet warm.
The 5 Picks:
1. Desert Boots
Desert boots are those type of shoes that are multi-seasonal. They are able to be carried from the warm months of summer to the bitter months of winter.
2. Leather Loafers
Leather loafers are handy if you need to be dressed up a bit more that your average shoe but not as dressed up as a lace up wing-tip.
3. Leather Combat Boots
Have you seen those boots you see a lot of rockers wearing, how about you go pick yourself up some.
4. Suede Boots
Suede adds a little flair to your outfit and will break you out from the pack. Just see the red pair Ed Westwick wore in my last post.
5. Converse All-Stars
The humble Chuck Taylor has been going strong since it’s creation in 1917.
Desert Boots – Wear with a pair of dark color jeans and check shirt to create a stylish casual outfit, perfect for a trip to the movies.
Leather Loafers – Wear with a slim fit pair of chinos and blazer, during winter even throw on a pair of socks to keep your feet extra warm. (Try playing around with different patterns to mix things up a bit.)
Combat Boots – Take after the rockers and wear with a dark pair of skinny jeans, graphic tee, and leather jacket. If you want to dress it up a bit more skip the tee and instead put on a button up shirt and bow tie. What combinations you use is all up to you. It’s all about individuality.
Suede Boots – Wear with a suit, you can choose whether to dress it down by wearing a v-neck t-shirt or going with a the shirt and tie option. Pull it all together with a matching pocket square.
Converse All-Stars – The most casual of footwear that I’ve listed, There great for any casual outing, wear with a pair of jeans and pretty much any type of jacket, being a blazer, leather, or denim.
That post was all about individuality as it was about style, in a sense there the same. I’d love to see your outfit choices so send them, and who knows best might appear on the blog.
