Essentials: Winter Jackets To Own This Season

Temperatures are going down and staying that way. So we’re all finding ways to stay warm and combat that winter chill, and one of the best ways to do that is to get yourself a jacket. Trends this season see pea coats becoming popular as well as other well known winter staples. What follows is four jackets that will keep you warm and stylish.

The Jackets:

Pea Coat – Originally worn by American and European naval sailors this staple has become popular among fashionistas world wide between men and women.

Style Tips:

Pea Coat – This coat is fairly versatile, able to be dresseed up or dressed down, my tip today is to dress it up with a checked button up shirt and a bow tie.

Trench Coat – Try wearing this with a white button up shirt and a plaid tie with a dark pair of jeans and loafers.

Leather Jacket – The leather jacket is also the rebels jacket, so wear this with a graphic t-shirt and jeans.

Denim Jacket – Wear with a light colored pair of chinos and a plaid shirt.

Extra Tip:

Try pairing the style advice I gave you with a pair of shoes I listed in my shoe post.

Once again style is all about individuality, so mix and match and play around with different things to create your own personal style.
