Style Icon | Ryan Gosling

For this months style icon post I decided to shine a spotlight on actor Ryan Gosling. The 30-year-old first gained attention in the Mickey Mouse Club but quickly rose to other roles as he grew up. As he grew up and matured so did his style.

Style Breakdown:

Ryan’s style is something to be proud of, he makes causal wear look good and formal wear look even better. Does everyone remember his blue tuxedo at the Cannes Film Festival? If you didn’t get a look at it I put it in his look book just below. Ryan knows how to keep it simple but still stand out. whatever he wears it’s sure to fit properly and tailored to perfection. His casual look with V necks goes an extra mile when worn with a complimentary jacket and printed scarf all making for an icon for the young and old alike.

Get Ryan’s Look:

To replicate Ryan’s look from Cannes is dead simple, but first you need these key pieces.

1. White chinos or jeans
2. Blue button up shirt
3. Two tone wing tips or black loafers
4. Aviators

To replicate this look is really simple, just start of with a pair of white chinos or as close to white as you can get, stone also works as well. Then pair with a blue button up shirt. Finish of with some two-tone wing tips or black loafers. After that accessorize with a pair of classic aviators, and your done.

Closing:

With his matured sense of style Ryan Gosling certainly deserved to be this months style icon, from his blue tuxedo to more causal looks he is one than men from any age can pull sartorial inspiration from.

  1. Ryan Gosling is bewildering in a good way. He seems like such a cool cucumber. His style is impeccable even when he’s casual. Never tries too hard and doesn’t seem like he wears anything just for wearing it. If anyone else tried to wear that blue tux, it might look like too much or like they’re trying to get attention. On him it’s just right.
