How To | Styling With Boat Shoes

Last week I started of a new series giving style advice to go with certain pieces of clothing, accessories, or a special event. The first one being espadrilles. This week I am focusing on the boat shoe, this spring/summer the canvas is the way to go being on trend and looking especially stylish too. The boat shoe comes in many different colour combinations and can be worn with a variety of different things which I will tell you below.

The Looks:

Look 1 – Day Out On The Yacht:

With summer coming up more people are heading out on their yachts, with the nautical trend going strong this season here is a look to keep you looking great.

What You Need:

1. Stone colour chinos
2. Nautical striped t-shirt
3. Navy shawl collar cardigan
4. Blue webbed belt
5. Aviators
6. Navy boat shoes


Look 2 – Seaside Cafe:

One of my favourite things to do during the warmer months is to get lunch or a snack at a cafe with amazing views of the ocean. With most people there to relax it does not mean your dress sense should suffer. Here is a look to have you looking stylish.

What You Need:

1. Stone colour chinos
2. Light blue button up shirt
3. Plaid bow tie
4. Tan belt
5. Aviators
6. White boat shoes


Look 3 – Casual Dinner Date

When your away on vacation it is nice to have a nice casual dinner, but what to wear? Here is a look for inspiration.

What You Need –

1. Dark/Indigo Jeans
2. Grey V-neck or scoop neck t-shirt
3. Dark grey blazer
4. Brown leather belt
5. Pocket square
6. Dark leather boat shoes
