Style Advice | New Years Eve Party

Over the course of the last month or so I have been running with some style advice features, and with New Years Eve just around the corner and being the next social event on the calander you want to look your best. With NYE parties, more time than not it is your chance to really dress up, with the selection of events across cities from black tie to a more casual house party, you have a whole range of sartorial choices. But with that also comes some confusion and some might feel overwhelmed. So I hope this helps.

The Looks:

Black Tie Ball:

A popular theme for a party is the ball, whether it be a masquarade or something else it is always a lot of fun, I remember a couple of years ago I was in the city and came across a Titanic themed ball. Whatever it is remember the fundamentals of black tie.

Night Club Party:

More popular for the younger generation but with venues also putting on paid events that include drink packages and canapes. I always reccomend putting on something smarter including a blazer.

House Party:

The house party has long been popular as a NYE event, especially if you live somewhere close to the fireworks. For something like this it is possible to dress down a bit and enjoy yourself.
