There was a theatrical presence to the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Dolce & Gabbana before the show even started, and when the first model walked down the runway we all knew why. The whole show was something of a dream where those in attendance were transported back to a time where people wore their best to the opera. The collection was full of 19th to early 20th century European Operatic feel. With gold embroidery on tailored jackets, red velvet suits, and cable knit cardigans. Domenico and Stefano should be proud of the job they did.
