11:56AM Now onto make-up oscars, the oscar goes to Mark Coulier and J.Roy Helland for “The Iron Lady”
12:04 PM The bit where they got the actors to speak about their first movie experience was a great touch.
12:05 PM Sandra Bullock presenting best foreign language film, the award goes to “A Seperation” from Iran.
12:09 PM Let’s welcome Christian Bale (AKA Batman) to present Best supporting actress, and the oscar goes to Octavia Spencer for “The Help”
In an emotional acceptance speech she thanks her family and those who changed her life.
12:22 PM Tina Fey and Bradley Cooper now presenting the Film Editing award, and the Oscar goes to “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall.
And the Oscar for best sound editing goes to “Hugo”
12:27 PM The Oscar for achievements in sound mixing goes to “Hugo” This makes it award number four for the non mob related Martin Scorcese film. Maybe he should make more kids films.

Tumbling, flipping and rolling around in suits, I can’t imagine that would be any fun.
12:39 PM Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr to present “Best Documentary”, the Oscar goes to “Undefeated”
12:44 PM Enter Chris Rock to the stage with hair on his head, when did that happen? But onto the awards… the Oscar for Best animated film goes to “Rango” The Lizard wins.
12:52 PM To present best visual effects are Ben Stiller and Emma Stone, and the award goes to “Hugo” again. Nicely done.
12:57 PM Billy Crystal has switched from the white tie to a three piece black tie tux.
12:59 PM The winner for Best Supporting Actor goes to Christopher Plummer for his role in “Beginners”

The award goes to “The Artist” I think we all saw that coming, maybe I should go see the movie and see what all the hype is about.
1:16 PM The Oscar for best original song goes to Brett McKenzie for “Man or Muppet – The Muppets”
1:24 PM Angelina Jolie hits the Oscar stage and looks stunning presenting best adapted screenplay.
And the Oscar goes to “The Descendants”
1:28 pm The Oscar for best Original screenplay goes to… Woody Allen “Midnight in Paris”
1:38 PM Time for the cast of Bridesmaids are now presenting awards to some good short films.
Oscar for best live action short film foes to “The Shore”
Oscar for best short Documentary goes to “Saving Face”
Oscar for best animated short film goes to “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore”
1:50 PM The original Wall Street shark Michael Douglas now presenting Best Director. The Oscar goes to Michel Hazanavicius “The Artist”
2:03 PM Time for the more sombre moment of the awards. We remember the people we lost over the course of last year R.I.P.
2:13 PM The stunning Natalie Portman presenting best actor in a leading role. The Oscar goes to Jean Dujardin in “The Artist”
2:22 PM Not too long to go until the end of the Oscars, who in your opinion should win best film of the year?
2:24 PM Colin Firth presenting best acress in a leading role, this is a tough one. The Oscar goes to… Meryl Streep.
2:32 PM And now Tom Cruise to present Best Motion Picture, and the award goes to none other than “The Artist”
