Top 5 Best Dressed Women | 84th Academy Awards

Yesterday the film industry held its night of nights, the Academy Awards. Now in its 84th year. But before the main event the stars walked the red carpet in their finest. Here are my picks for the top five best dressed women.

| The List |

1. Stacey Keibler

Dress: Marchesa

Jewelry: Lorraine Schwartz

Verdict: Stacy looked absolutely stunning in this golden gown from popular red carpet fashion house Marchesa. While watching the coverage plenty of people commented on the fact that George Clooney has brought himself his own Oscar and I have to agree.

2. Cameron Diaz

Dress: Gucci

Shoes: Salvatore Ferragamo

Jewelry: Tiffany & Co.

Verdict: Cameron looked spectacular walking the red carpet, but nothing drew your attention as much as the $1,000,000 worth of diamonds she was wearing.

3. Gwyneth Paltrow

Dress: Tom Ford

Shoes: Jimmy Choo

Jewelry: Anna Hu

Verdict:  I think this is very likely the dress of the night, with a custom made one shoulder’d dress designed by Tom Ford, this would have looked amazing by itself let a lone the added cape which added a whole new dynamic. Bravo.

4. Natalie Portman

Dress: Dior Haute Couture

Shoes: Dior

Bag: Charlotte Olympia

Jewelry: Harry Winston

Verdict: Natalie looked glamorous walking down the red carpet, while not her best she still deserves a spot on this list.

5. Penelope Cruz

Photobucket

Dress: Giorgio Armani

Jewelry: Chopard

Verdict: Penelope has just slipped into fifth place on our best dressed list wearing this gown from Giorgio Armani, my opinion about this is pretty much the same as Natalie’s red carpet look.

What do you think of the 2012 best dressed list?

Thank you for reading.
