I found out this morning that British retail chain Topshop will be opening the doors to their first every Sydney store later this year. While they already have a store located in Melbourne it has taken a little while longer to get things up and running for the Sydney fashion lovers.
“We are very excited about the imminent launch of Topshop Sydney in October 2012, a city known for its trend-setting and fashion conscious crowds,” Mary Homer, managing director for Topshop, said in a statement.
“I feel confident the Topshop aesthetic will strike a cord with the effortlessly chic Sydney market and build on the phenomenal success of our Melbourne flagship store.
Due to open up in October at the Gowings building in George Street, shoppers can expect to see the same bargain prices and seasonal trends just like in Melbourne. Now if only they would open up a store in Brisbane then I would really be happy. Until then it is online shopping or trips down south for me.
