New York Fashion Week | Michael Bastian Spring Summer 2013 Menswear

Michael Bastian turned away from his preppy ways to put on a show that was all about the sexuality of American heritage in his New York Fashion Week showing. For Bastian’s Spring Summer 2013 collection is all about muting the colours with an array of linen suits, short shorts, polos, and knits that were all in stones, greys, and other pastel colours. There was also speedos paired with knits in a bold look that I know me personally could never pull of. But along with all the risks and change the collection pulls together nicely. According to style.com a question was posed, is the collection straight or gay, and I agree in this day and age the line is blurred and more men take risks in what they wear. In Michael Bastian why not take a step and embrace it? See some of my favourite looks from the new season below.
